The tools for the job

£90 would help us equip a PDSA vet with everything they need for a whole day, helping them operate on sick and injured pets in their hour of need.

Every day our vets perform a huge range of procedures – from clipping nails to complex surgical operations. This gift of the equipment a vet needs for a day will include full operating clothing (including gown, hat, mask, apron, shoe covers and goggles) plus scalpels and blades, sutures and kidney dishes for up to 10 surgeries.

How the right tools helped Suki

Gorgeous girl Suki was left in dire straits after a dog attack near her home in Sunderland. She was rushed to our out-of-hours service in Gateshead where owner Marjorie was told to fear the worst. Poor Suki suffered horrific injuries, including a ruptured spleen and broken jaw. She also needed extensive surgery to repair damage to her sides, which were ripped open in the attack. Suki required 18 separate procedures to help to heal her wounds.

Because you love animals, why not give the PDSA Pet Saving Gift of everything a PDSA vet needs for a whole day, helping them operate on sick and injured pets in their hour of need.

As the UK’s leading veterinary charity, PDSA relies on the kindness of the public to provide 2.7 million treatments to 470,000 pets each year.

Your Pet Saving Gift really will make all the difference.

All donations go towards helping our vets get poorly pets back on their paws.
